Pelmets and Lambrequins

Solid pelmets and lambrequins can be fitted to any shape or style of window. They can reflect a contemporary style by adopting a straight edge design with trims or even a stepped contrasting fabric fascia beneath to more traditional and ornate shaped lambrequins. Pelmets offer a perfect solution to hide curtain tracks and the tops of blinds, allowing curtains to be made with simple pencil pleats headings as they will be hidden behind the pelmet face.

Our solid pelmets are made of MDF and framed in softwood in our North Yorkshire workshops. The fabric is then stretched and secured onto the pelmet shape, using upholstery techniques to give a professional, taut, padded finish.

We also make fascias that are attached via velcro to pelmet top boards, these are primarily used on bay windows or where a pelmet isn't a practical solution.
